EQUIP AUTO Paris 2025: The Three Professional Press Awards organized by the Association of Technical and Economic Journalists
Paris, October 15, 2025 – At EQUIP AUTO Paris 2025, the Professional Press Awards, organized by the Association of Technical and Economic Journalists (AJTE), return to spotlight the show’s most promising innovations.
Presented by a jury of specialist journalists, these awards showcase innovative products and services exhibited at the show. From day one, the jury walked the aisles to identify groundbreaking innovations not entered in the International Automotive Innovation Awards. The competition is open to products and services recently launched—meaning within one year of the show’s opening date.
The three 2025 Professional Press Award winners are:
- ÉRÉPAR – Electronic Diagnostics by Registration Number
A market first! With its new intelligent feature integrated into the www.erepar.fr platform, ÉRÉPAR now enables mechanics to identify electronic faults using just the vehicle’s registration number. Garages gain instant access to:
- a list of repairable electronic components,
- associated faults,
- the ability to order repairs directly.
This 100% digital solution, already featuring 9,000 documented repairs, streamlines diagnostics, reduces errors, and offers an alternative up to four times cheaper than new parts—all while supporting environmental responsibility.
- FRANCE DÉBOSSELAGE – “Milan” 3D Laser Scanner
With increasingly severe hailstorms, France Débosselage is innovating with “Milan,” a 3D laser scanner capable of remotely detecting and analyzing body damage. Tested with MAIF, this tool enhances assessment accuracy and speeds up claims processing. This breakthrough is part of a comprehensive approach: a centralized, ISO 9001-certified process that’s environmentally friendly thanks to paintless dent repair.
- FEBI (BILSTEIN GROUP) – Smart Oil Tester
FEBI presents a diagnostic device capable of analyzing fluid condition (oil, hydraulic fluids, etc.) using artificial intelligence. The results, which include illustrations and can be exported as PDFs, enable workshops to anticipate maintenance needs, advise their customers, and create new revenue streams.
The EQUIP AUTO awards ceremony, where the Professional Press Awards organized by AJTE were presented, was held jointly with the International Automotive Innovation Awards on Wednesday, October 15 at 4:45 PM in the EQUIP AUTO Arena, followed by a cocktail reception.
