International Grands Prix for Automotive Innovation
A major event at the show, EQUIP AUTO's Grands Prix Internationaux de l'Innovation Automobile are designed to select and reward the most innovative concepts, products and services from the show's exhibitors, and to showcase emerging technologies in the automotive aftermarket.
The International Grands Prix for Automotive Innovation recognize the most outstanding innovations presented by EQUIP AUTO exhibitors.
Their purpose is to showcase technologies, products, and services that contribute to advancing the automotive industry and shaping the future of mobility.
The winners are selected by a jury of nearly 100 French and international journalists representing 25 countries.
Awards are presented in eight categories, alongside a Special CSR Award recognizing exemplary initiatives in corporate social responsibility.
Key milestones
Submission of applications
- Applications can be submitted from the opening of the platform on April 5 to June 4 inclusive.
- Board meeting to validate applications: June 28.
Selection and voting
- Selection vote by the French and international jury: 28 to July 7.
- Communication of selected July 8
- Exhibitors to present products to the jury: September 6
- Final vote by jury members: September 6 to 13
- Announcement of winners: September 15
Awards ceremony
- The awards ceremony took place during the show on October 13
- The ceremony is open to all exhibitors and visitors to the show to discover and congratulate the winners together.
Technical Director of the International Grands Prix for Automotive Innovation
As Technical Director of the International Grands Prix for Automotive Innovation (IGPIA), he plays a key role in the evaluation and qualification of submitted innovations. Working closely with the President of the Grands Prix, the Executive Committee, and the EQUIP AUTO teams, he ensures the quality, relevance, and technical credibility of all applications throughout the selection process.
His expertise and independent perspective help guarantee a rigorous assessment of the innovations and contribute to identifying the solutions that deliver the greatest value to the automotive industry.
President of International Grands Prix for Automotive Innovation
As President of the Grands Prix Internationaux de l’Innovation Automobile (GPIIA), Bertrand Gay plays a central role in the organization and smooth running of the various stages in the process of selecting and promoting innovations. Working closely with the Show team and the Technical Director, he is responsible for assisting EQUIP AUTO teams in organizing Bureau meetings, the pre-selection voting session, the pre-selected product presentation meeting and the GPIIA awards ceremony.
Its commitment guarantees a rigorous and fair assessment of the innovations presented.
