International Grands Prix for Automotive Innovation

A major event at the show, EQUIP AUTO's Grands Prix Internationaux de l'Innovation Automobile are designed to select and reward the most innovative concepts, products and services from the show's exhibitors, and to showcase emerging technologies in the automotive aftermarket.

EQUIP AUTO Paris celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Grands Prix Internationaux de l’Innovation Automobile in 2025, with a jury composed of nearly 100 French and international journalists from 25 countries.

The program featured awards in 8 categories, including a special CSR Award.

The awards ceremony took place at the EQUIP AUTO Arena in Pavilion 1 on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

Registration was open to all exhibitors registered for EQUIP AUTO Paris 2025.

THE JURY FOR GRANDS PRIX

After an initial voting phase to select the nominees, the jury reconvened to reward the most innovative products and services of the past year. The winners were announced.

For the first phase of voting, the jury, composed of French and international experts, met to examine the 166 applications received this year.

This first round resulted in the selection of the Selected Innovations.

Technical Director of International Grands Prix for Automotive Innovation

As Technical Director of the International Automotive Innovation Awards (GPIIA), Pascal Sigrist plays a key role in the evaluation and qualification of candidate innovations. Working closely with the President of the Awards, the Board, and the EQUIP AUTO teams, he ensures the quality, relevance, and technical credibility of the applications submitted throughout the selection process.

His expertise and independent perspective help guarantee a rigorous assessment of innovations and highlight the solutions that bring the greatest value to the automotive industry.

President of International Grands Prix for Automotive Innovation

As President of the Grands Prix Internationaux de l’Innovation Automobile (GPIIA), Bertrand Gay plays a central role in the organization and smooth running of the various stages in the process of selecting and promoting innovations. Working closely with the Show team and the Technical Director, he is responsible for assisting EQUIP AUTO teams in organizing Bureau meetings, the pre-selection voting session, the pre-selected product presentation meeting and the GPIIA awards ceremony.

Its commitment guarantees a rigorous and fair assessment of the innovations presented.

International Grands Prix for Automotive Innovation board is made up of French journalists specializing in the automotive after-sales sector. Its role is to define the rules, determine the categories and the general process, and validate the conformity of the entries.
