International Grands Prix for Automotive Innovation
A major event at the show, EQUIP AUTO's Grands Prix Internationaux de l'Innovation Automobile are designed to select and reward the most innovative concepts, products and services from the show's exhibitors, and to showcase emerging technologies in the automotive aftermarket.
EQUIP AUTO Paris celebrates 40 years of the Grands Prix Internationaux de l’Innovation Automobile in 2025, with a jury of nearly 100 French and international journalists from 25 countries.
On the program: prizes to be won in 8 categories, including a special CSR prize.
The awards ceremony will take place in Pavilion 1 of the EQUIP AUTO Arena on Wednesday, October 15, from 4:45 to 5:45 pm.
Registration is open to all exhibitors registered for EQUIP AUTO Paris 2025.
The Jury for Grands PrixThe first round of voting for the International Grands Prix for Automotive Innovation is now closed. The jury, made up of French and international experts, met from July 8 to 15 to review the 166 applications received this year.
Following this first round, a selection has been made: the shortlisted candidates are now in the running to become Winners of the International Grands Prix for Automotive Innovation.

Submission of applications
- Applications can be submitted from the opening of the platform on April 7 to June 16 inclusive.
- Board meeting to validate applications: July 2
Selection and voting
- Selection vote by the French and international jury: July 8 to July 15
- Communication of selected July 17
- Exhibitors to present products to the jury: September 8
- Final vote by jury members: September 9 to 14
- Announcement of winners: September 16
Awards ceremony
- The awards ceremony will take place during the show on October 15
- The ceremony will be open to all exhibitors and visitors to the show to discover and congratulate the winners together.

President of International Grands Prix for Automotive Innovation
As President of the Grands Prix Internationaux de l’Innovation Automobile (GPIIA), Bertrand Gay plays a central role in the organization and smooth running of the various stages in the process of selecting and promoting innovations. Working closely with the Show team and the Technical Director, he is responsible for assisting EQUIP AUTO teams in organizing Bureau meetings, the pre-selection voting session, the pre-selected product presentation meeting and the GPIIA awards ceremony.
Its commitment guarantees a rigorous and fair assessment of the innovations presented.
Jean-Marc Felten was re-elected Technical Director of the Grands Prix Internationaux de l’Innovation Automobile (GPIIA) at the Board meeting on September 4, 2024. In this central role, he is responsible for steering and overseeing the entire exhibitor application process within the Grands Prix . Thanks to his dedication and rigor, Jean-Marc Felten plays an essential role in the smooth running and quality of the Grands Prix.
The Grands Prix de l’innovation automobile board is made up of French journalists specializing in the automotive after-sales sector. Its role is to define the rules, determine the categories and the general process, and validate the conformity of the entries.
