EQUIP AUTO Paris 2025: The Ambitious Program of the 50th Anniversary Edition

97% of Space Already Reserved, 39% New Exhibitors, and an Exclusive Program Unveiled at the Press Conference on June 19 at Café de l’Homme.

Paris, July 10, 2025 – Under the high patronage of Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the Republic, EQUIP AUTO Paris 2025 will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a historic and festive edition. From October 14 to 18, 2025, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the exhibition will bring together more than 1,400 exhibitors & brands across 100,000 m² and is expecting 100,000 professionals. Here is an overview of the main announcements and new features unveiled during the press conference.

Growth and a New Identity

During the press conference held on June 19 at the symbolic Café de l’Homme, Claude Cham (President of EQUIP’AUTO SAS), Philippe Baudin (President of EQUIP AUTO Exhibition), and Aurélie Jouve (Exhibition Director) presented an ambitious anniversary program under the theme: “United by a Shared Passion.”

For its 50th anniversary, EQUIP AUTO Paris asserts itself as “The International Exhibition for Automotive Professionals” and embodies a promise to unite the entire automotive value chain, from upstream to downstream, around four major trends transforming the sector: energy transition, digital transformation, circular economy, and adjacent business areas.

  • 100,000 m² of exhibition space: 97% already reserved – 39% new companies registered

  • Several national pavilions (China, Korea, Spain, Morocco, Poland, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey)

Conferences, exhibitions, and activities: an unprecedented anniversary program.

The 2025 Edition: Major New Features

8 Thematic Villages, including 4 new ones:

  • Tech Village: connectivity, infotainment, new powertrains, AI, Software Defined Vehicle… Entirely dedicated to technological innovation, this village will bring together OEMs, suppliers, tech professionals, and service companies to support the sector’s transformation. An Outdoor Testing Zone for real-life, immersive demonstrations will also be available to enhance the visitor experience.
  • Tire & Innovation Village, in partnership with the Syndicat du Pneu : a meeting point for the entire sector, with numerous exhibitors showcasing all innovations and challenges, particularly related to vehicle electrification.
  • Energy Village: addressing all professionals in the sector as well as automotive aftermarket workshops, supporting them in optimizing energy costs, understanding electric vehicle specifics, choosing charging stations, and transitioning to alternative energies.
  • Talent Village: highlighting automotive careers in the context of technological change. Activities include a hackathon with leading engineering schools on future mobility, a job area in partnership with France Travail (inclusion/diversity) and WAVE Les Elles de l’Auto (women-focused day with speed coaching). An Employment Wall and Job Dating sessions will connect talent directly with companies. The GARAC e-Garage will provide live demonstrations on electric vehicle maintenance.

These four new villages complement the now essential exhibition villages: Bodywork & Paintwork, Used Vehicles, Circular Economy, and Startups.

EQUIP AUTO ARENA: The Heart of the Exhibition

This unique space, dedicated to technical workshops, conferences, and forums, will offer over 250 seats within Pavilion 1 and will host more than 25 events with no fewer than 150 international speakers.

Highlights include:

European Grand Forum on “The Challenges of Automotive Distribution in Europe”
EQUIP AUTO Paris will honor national and European federations addressing major industry challenges with a special Europe Day on Wednesday, October 15. The forum will include participation from AME, APRA, EGEA, FIGIEFA, and national federations.

Tech Academy: 5 Days of Roundtables, Keynotes, and Pitches

To support the rapid evolution of technologies in automotive and mobility, the Tech Academy serves as a bridge between technological innovation and practical applications. It provides OEMs, repairers, and distributors a dedicated space to raise awareness of new challenges and opportunities in the sector.

Exhibitions, Activities, and Celebrations: 50 Years to Celebrate!

Retrospective Exhibition “(R)ÉVOLUTION” Celebrating 50 Years of Innovation
This exhibition will honor innovation and influential personalities in the automotive sector. The journey highlights 50 key figures and revolutionary innovations that have shaped the automotive industry.

40 Years of the International Automotive Innovation Awards
Now a must-attend event, the Awards aim to recognize the most innovative concepts, products, and services in the automotive sector, showcasing emerging technologies that offer real benefits to maintenance and service professionals. An exceptional jury of around 100 French and international journalists has been assembled. To celebrate the 40th anniversary, eight trophies will be awarded, including a new Special CSR Prize. The awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, October 15, late afternoon, within the Arena.

The Artists’ Workshop and Jeep Willys Activity
EQUIP AUTO will showcase artists inspired by automotive history with a dedicated space for sculptors, painters, and furniture designers. Visitors and exhibitors will vote for their favorite work, and the winning artist will be honored on the final day of the exhibition.

François Allain, a prominent figure in the automotive world, will host a timed assembly/disassembly challenge of a Jeep Willys vehicle.

With its ambitious new features, strong engagement from industry players, and numerous institutional and media partnerships, EQUIP AUTO Paris 2025 promises a historic edition focused on the future of the automotive industry.
