On May 13 2025, the Hôtel Novotel aux Berges du Lac in Tunis hosted a strategic press conference focusing on dialogue and international cooperation in the automotive sector. Organized by EQUIP AUTO, in partnership with the Tunisian-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCITF) and the Tunisian Automotive Association (TAA), this event brought together the main Tunisian and foreign players in the automotive sector active in Tunisia.
The meeting was part of the preparations for EQUIP AUTO’s fiftieth anniversary. Through this initiative, EQUIP AUTO confirms its determination to further consolidate its influence in North Africa, and to strengthen the links between the European and North African industrial ecosystems.
Under the theme “The automotive sector in the face of global transformations: challenges, opportunities and prospects”, the conference addressed the sector’s major changes: electrification, digitalization, sustainable development, new value chains… all issues at the heart of the upcoming debates in Paris, and in which EQUIP AUTO intends to play a leading role.

On May 26 and 27, 2025, Istanbul hosted a key stage in the international mobilization around EQUIP AUTO Paris 2025, which will celebrate its 50ᵉ anniversary from October 14 to 18 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Organized in partnership with major players in the Turkish and European automotive industry, this sequence illustrated the collective momentum driving the sector in the run-up to this not-to-be-missed event.
As early as May 26, the delegations met for a dinner attended by representatives of ALZ GRUP, the Turkish association OSS (with its president Ali Özçete, and its general secretary Emirhan Silahtaroğlu – CEO of the Silkar Endaş group and Mr. Orçun İSTANBULLUOĞLU – general coordinator) CİHAT ALAGOZ – CEO of ALZ GRUP, as well as the EQUIP AUTO and Promosalons Turkey team.
EQUIP AUTO press conference On May 27, the Opera Room of the prestigious Hotel The Marmara Taksim hosted the official press conference. After an introduction by Claude Cham, President of EQUIP’AUTO SAS, Philippe Baudin and Aurélie Jouve presented the main themes and new features of the anniversary edition in Paris:
