At EQUIP AUTO Paris 2025, the Tyre & Innovation Village, organized in partnership with the Syndicat du Pneu and its members, takes on a whole new dimension by bringing together all the key players in the sector.

A unique educational exhibition

To illustrate this transformation, visit the heart of the Tyre Village to discover our exclusive educational exhibition: “The future of tyres is on display here!
Enter the era of smart tyres” The Tire Union presents a concrete example of the RFID chip, designed with the support of several specialized players. The goal: to show, step by step, how this technology will transform tire management.

This exhibition, organized chronologically, allows visitors to follow the life of a tire from the moment it leaves the factory until its destruction:

OE assembly
Logistics, stock entry and exit
Identification in the workshop – mobile solution
Workshop identification – fixed solution
Automatic mounting on a connected machine
Automatic balancing on a connected machine
Sorting and pairing for reuse
Sorting and selection for destruction and recycling

It should be noted that digital passports will be mandatory from 2028, that manufacturers have already adopted RFID tires as original equipment, and that 12 manufacturers are working together on this issue within the GDSO organization. The widespread adoption of this technology will require new equipment.
