EQUIP AUTO Paris reinvented the visiting experience by adding an experiential and innovative dimension with a brand new demonstrator. “The Garage of the Future: from tomorrow to 2032,” an immersive exhibition, will plunge the professionals attending the tradeshow into how their current business activity is changing, and what to expect in the coming years.
Open to all visitors in Pavilion 2.1., “The Garage of the Future” allowed offer an opportunity throughout the duration of the show to experience, in a single location, the efficient and innovative ecosystem of tomorrow’s garage and the comprehensive value chain of the industrial sector.
This novel, dynamic and interactive special feature will enrich the visiting experience.
At the centre of this demonstrator, visitors will discover the “Repair Arena”, a live simulation around an electric vehicle and innovative solutions for the garage of the future.

Devoted to the energy transition, this theme will be explored with Opisto, a marketplace that digitalises the entire B2B customer journey in order to promote the use of reusable parts.
Opisto.pro: parts from the circular economy for all
If the Circular Economy Part (CEP) is not new and has become a permanent part of the automotive repair landscape, it is necessary to accelerate the visibility of stocks (or deposits) throughout the national territory, within intuitive digital search and order tools. Indeed: since April 2019, all maintenance professionals are legally obliged to "offer to opt" for parts from the circular economy to their customers.
Opisto presents its marketplace Opisto.pro at the Garage Du Futur. A solution for viewing and ordering more than 3.8 million used parts, dedicated to professionals. The e-commerce site is linked to a network of over 500 approved recyclers throughout France. The extension of the Opisto offer and services to well-known after-sales players (Assercar, AD, 123 Autoservice, the FNA and Alpha Scale (Axa)) means that repairers can be offered multiple entry points according to their own networks. A single objective: to accelerate the development of used parts in workshops.

An intelligent Garage & Connected Equipment section with two remarkable selections: RAVAGLIOLI with a 2-column equipment dedicated to EVs including geometry measurement and Santa Cruz (French bodybuilder) and its versatile and connected paint booth.
RAVAGLIOLI France will simultaneously present several innovations: a 2-column car lift, including electric vehicles, which can be associated with a cable-free geometry controller, operated by a Wi-Fi-connected tablet. A combo of innovations to save time and space and improve working ergonomics.
A new player in the world of bodywork, Santa Cruz will be presenting an exclusive multi-purpose and connected paint booth that is part of the smart repair (or fast repair) trend, whose aim is to carry out a comprehensive and rapid repair in a new generation booth.
The Garage in the electric vehicle era

A Garage for the EV era: with Hella-Gutmann and its complete ecosystem for diagnosing low and high voltage vehicles; the very innovative Delmonicos and its "plug&charge" solution to considerably improve the battery recharging experience in a mobile situation; and Moba, which offers a diagnosis and a certificate of the condition of EV batteries, with a view to future vehicle resales.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to experience the complete ecosystem for low- and high-voltage vehicle diagnostics from Hella Gutmann Solutions. Whether to safely de-power the vehicle or to diagnose electrical components, this complete system documents and protects the work of the professional.
Delmonicos Inside will demonstrate a Plug & Charge solution that will significantly improve the battery charging experience for all users of electric vehicles on the go. Blockchain, cardless charging and multiple subscriptions are at the heart of this innovation to provide simplicity and increased safety.
Meanwhile, Moba will be demonstrating a device that can be plugged into the EOBD to diagnose the condition of a vehicle's battery. This solution provides the opportunity to sell new services in the workshop and to certify the battery of an electric vehicle before it is put on sale.

A garage and electronic maintenance section, with Delphi Technologies by BorgWarner and a latest generation diagnosis including a lot of pedagogy and assistance to the intervention on the latest generations of vehicles; DAF Conseil, a training actor which proposes a remote handling and diagnosis solution and AUTEL with its 2-in-one ADAS + geometry controller.
Delphi Technologies by BorgWarner will display a state-of-the-art diagnostic tool that is scalable and ready for the latest digital communication architectures, including CAN FD (flexible data) and DoIP (diagnosis on internet protocol). This allows the technician to diagnose the latest vehicle systems, including ADAS and in-vehicle telematics, while benefiting from a wide range of help and support features.
Diagnostic professionals wishing to receive assistance for jobs on recent vehicles that are still unfamiliar, will be able to watch an exclusive presentation of DAF Conseil's dedicated service, whose technicians can take remote control of the vehicle's communication interface, access a range of multi-make or manufacturer tools, and save the repairer time and money.
Autel France will present a 2-in-1 solution combining a wheel alignment system and driver assistance system (ADAS) calibration, which are common operations in collision repair and mechanical workshops. The setting values are displayed on a hand-held diagnostic tablet and the operator controls the alignment operations from there thanks to the automatic detection of the vehicle and the motorised alignment system.

The Digital Garage section attracted the most applications from innovators: 4 innovations, all of them exciting, such as the Repair Software bodywork management software, the Stampyt software suite for the used car and after-sales activity, a very innovative technician intermediation platform for vehicle inspections. EVL Solution presents the Keasy Box and ANFA the digital skills of automotive services.
A theme in high demand from exhibitors, the digital Garage will host four innovations.
The French Association for Automotive Training (ANFA in French) will present its new training courses, the result of its Plan d'Investissement d'Avenir (PIA), which aims to support professionals in acquiring skills relating to connected and autonomous vehicle technologies on the one hand, and to the digitalisation of vehicle retail and aftersales on the other.
Stampyt by Imaweb will introduce a 100% digital software suite including numerous business solutions for 1/ vehicle trading activities (photo databases including trimming, plate covers, advert publication, video calls, 360° photos, video, cash purchase or buyback of used vehicles, used vehicle sourcing; 2/ aftersales (vehicle inspection, additional sales, aftersales support).
EVL Solution will present an ingenious box allowing clients (especially professionals) to drop off or pick up the keys of their vehicles 24 hours a day.

The Garage in the age of alternative fuels, with a nugget, Educam, the Belgian equivalent of the French GNFA, which has developed the first training and equipment for the maintenance of hydrogen vehicles. All of Europe wants to see this concept.
