- 23,270,000 passenger car tyres
- 2,420,000 tyres for SUVs

In addition to the passenger car tyre market, 1,060,000 truck tyres were also sold in France.

The market is divided between sales of original equipment tyres (tyres fitted on new vehicles) and sales of replacement tyres.
In terms of the number of units sold, two thirds of passenger car tyres sold in France are replacement products and 1/3 are fitted to new vehicles.
Passenger car, van and 4x4 tyres are distributed through four main distribution channels:
- Specialist retailers (Euromaster, Point S, Profil Plus, etc.)
- Auto centres (Norauto, Feu vert, etc.) and fast fitters (Speedy, Midas, etc.)
- Car dealers and sales offices (Renault, Peugeot, etc.), garages (AD Distribution, etc.)
- Online retailers, distributors without physical points of sale (Allo pneu, 123 Pneu, etc.)
The replacement tyre market is dominated by A brands (premium or upmarket) and B brands (mid-range). Premium brands alone account for more than 60% of sales. At the other end, entry-level tyres account for only 10% of volumes.
